Now I am tired of doing the same PL/SQL programming and I have been looking for something challenging. I am not sure of what to do to challenge my mind. I was thinking of just changing the whole system I am working on to work in Java or a J2EE environment but, my boss does not want to buy webservers. I am thinking of finishing up my classifieds website and offer it for free. What can I do? Can I start writing a book on PL/SQL or PHP programming? Can I study for my Masters or what can I do?

I read it ur saying or feeling .
It is good and i understand from that u need to do or get new things in every time to know or to improve ur capablity of knowldge . If u r boss doesn't buy what u need leave it and do the given task and write the book what is good thing on the world coz writing books means giving knowldge for ur brother ,sit ... and other ppl and interseting thind
And i think u r the good programmer from what u done so i hope u will give some thing better for mother land of ours continen AFRICA so keep it this thing

Thats very funny. I last used QBasic my first days in college. I guess that time the colleges in Harare were poor to upgrade the computers to Windoze 95.
Boredom is only a state of mind, a feeling. It is not real. It does not have mass, volume, or energy. You will be a happier person if you accept it for what it is. You can believe what I am saying because I have been through these same feelings, and I still occasionally experience them. However, because I know them for what they are, only emotions, I am not bothered by them. They are part of life, just as death is part of life.
